<p>The Costing Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the cost accounting function within the organization. This role ensures accurate cost analysis, supports strategic decision-making, and contributes to financial planning and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of manufacturing or service costing methodologies.</p> <div align="center"><hr align="center" size="0" width="1440"></div> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes.</li> <li>Analyze production costs, material costs, labor costs, and overhead expenses.</li> <li>Prepare cost reports and forecasts for management review.</li> <li>Collaborate with operations, procurement, and finance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.</li> <li>Monitor inventory valuation and ensure accurate cost allocation.</li> <li>Support budgeting and financial planning activities.</li> <li>Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.</li> <li>Lead costing audits and support external audit requirements.</li> <li>Provide training and guidance to junior costing staff.</li> </ul> <div align="center"><hr align="center" size="0" width="1440"></div> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.</li> <li>Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or service industry costing.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.</li> </ul> <div align="center"><hr align="center" size="0" width="1440"></div> <p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.</li> <li>Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.</li> <li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.</li> </ul>
