<p><strong>Position Summary</strong>: </p> <p> </p> <p>Performs engineering work in applied research, design, development, testing, manufacturing process and documentation of products or systems.</p> <p>Works with product marketing engineers to understand customer requirements in terms of power electronics and to ensure that the product(s) work in their application(s).</p> <p>Uses research techniques to analyze and validate electronic/electrical design improvements, reading schematics and or theory of power concepts.</p> <p>Provides direction and leadership to engineers and engineering technicians related to programs or specific work related to satisfy custormer products requirements required in faster way.</p> <p>Interacts with senior level profesionals both internal and external to AE. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the design and analysis of electrical/electronics power PSU and related products, including their subsystems/circuits to specification, cost, budget, schedule, and quality goals.</li> <li>Responsible to diagnose product performance issues of diverse scope with design, field performance, reliability and test yields, and recommend/implement corrective actions to address.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Assumes responsibility for the success of the product/system in the customers' applications and recommend/implement corrective actions as needed.</li> <li>Follows key engineering procedures including:</li> </ul> <p> Product Development Process</p> <p> PLE’s Dashboard update</p> <p> LAB operation process</p> <p> ECO process</p> <p> BOM update process</p> <p> Safety 60601 standard</p> <p> DFMA for pre-production transference,</p> <p> NPI Risk assessment acknowledge</p> <ul> <li><strong>Electronic acknowledge:</strong> Ability to demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining electrical/electronic solutions.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Standard office environment utilizing standard office equipment, metrology equipment, testing bench and environmental chambers in a low noisy fast-paced lab 90% of the time,</li> <li>Must be able to travel 20 % of the time. Travel involves international and domestic travel to remote sites, customers and vendors.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Skills:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Acknowledge</strong>:Proven professional skills as an experienced engineer with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies/procedures</li> <li><strong>Collaborative</strong>:Able to receive and provide less instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.</li> <li><strong>Self-directed: </strong> Ability to solve complex technical problems independently.</li> <li><strong>Management: </strong>Ability to manage multiple projects at one time</li> <li><strong>Effective communication</strong>:Good verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li><strong>Leadership</strong>: </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with influencing and negotiating in complex situations</li> <li>Ability to lead team members</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Experience required:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Five to Eight years of Electrical / Electronic engineering experience with focus on product performance understanding.</p> <p>Highly skilled on electrical schematics and circuit analysis.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Bachelor degree in Electrical / Electronic/ Mechatronic Engineering/Science or similar.</p> <p> </p> <p>MD on Electrical Science related ( preferred)</p>
