Position Summary: The Data Analyst I serves as the primary liaison between GCM, IT, and Supply Chain functions in the design of business information systems, incorporating new updates to ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to improve company workflow, production, efficiency and effectiveness. In addition to developing and implementing price, Lead Time, processes, procedures, and other supporting business infrastructure, the analyst provides day-to-day support, ongoing process improvement and implementation of new functionality. Responsibilities <ul> <li> Analysis and Solution Definition: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Update the Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, Source List, and Quota Arrangement data as directed from the GCM.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Identifies system strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Combines a strategy of promoting business innovation with major business process improvements.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Analyzes work samples and methods; measuring work performance; workflow, and work methods; developing new procedures.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Understand the various dataset tables in SAP and how they interact with each other for speed and problem solving.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Assists user community in analyzing and defining needs; creates detailed specifications from which programs will be written.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Responsible for analyzing impact of issues/solutions on other areas of the company.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Develops functional specifications and system design specifications. </li> </ul> </li> <li> Technical Recommendation and Testing: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Oversees testing and implementation of new functionality that affects business software applications including the ERP and PLM master data.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Works with affected personnel to identify required changes and communicates necessary changes to development.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Communicates needed changes to development team. </li> </ul> </li> </ul> Other responsibilities: <ul> <li style="list-style-type:none"> <ul> <li>Architects and designs change management business processes and workflows and integrates and aligns these with the capabilities of PLM and ERP Business System modules.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Works with IT to provide input and technical expertise for development and support of PLM and ERP systems.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Performs work as assigned by supervisor.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Performs work in accordance with defined business processes and with the strategic direction of the business.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in business or computer information systems, or equivalent education and/or experience.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">0-2 years of production planning, material management or configuration management experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Independently manage tasks from planning through completion.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Build relationships with and influence a diverse range of coworkers.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Provide leadership among key contributors without benefit of direct line authority.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Demonstrate experience performing business process mapping and coordination of activities necessary to implement cross functional solutions of the different teams.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Manage multiple priorities and tasks.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Solve problems efficiently and effectively.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Excellent organizational skills.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Work in a team environment.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Knowledge of software programs (e.g., MS Office, SAP, Power BI, Adobe Acrobat).</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Ability to quickly grasp advanced technological concepts and translate them for appropriate audiences, including a highly technical audience</li> </ul> As part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees in order to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.
