<p>OVERALL MISSION / PURPOSE<br>Code design, implementation, validation and maintenance on PSUs</p> <p><br>KEY RESULTS AREAS / DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & TIME SPENT ON THE DUTY<br><Firmware development></p> <p>• Knowledgeable about embedded system design and implementation <br>• Familiar with varies series of MCU/DSP <br>• HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) code development and debugging</p> <p>• Code maintenance with design documentation and awareness of importance of source code control <br>• Good practice of coding style and best coding practice <br>• Knowledgeable about control theory</p> <p>• Knowledgeable about housekeeping function including PMBus<br>• Experience in using RTOS is a plus <br>• Experience in Python and C# is a plus</p> <p>• Experience in git source code management is a plus<br><br><br><Firmware Architecture><br>• Be able to introduce modularity and re-use of designs to improve time to market and the overall customer experience <br>• Designs, develops and maintains applications for automating processes. <br>• Monitor and track process efficiency and problems in engineering processes <br>• Constantly seeking improvement on design and processes</p> <p><br><Soft Skills><br>• Be able to present to customers for technical details</p> <p>• Written & spoken English communication skills<br>• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment is a must. <br>• Keeps team engaged and on track</p> <p> </p> <p><Proven ability to work with a global team to deliver high quality source code in a fast paced, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment><br>• Cooperates with sites to leverage their architectures, modules and code <br>• Research new technologies, emerging trends and potential customer requirements </p> <p><br><Designs, develops and maintains applications for automating processes, debugging and testing><br>• Be able to create a software tool for PSU firmware debugging</p> <p>• Be able to use the git tool to maintain source code development<br>• Be able to adapt concepts of a good software/firmware architecture to projects </p> <p><br>JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY REQUIRED<br><Knowledge></p> <p>• Power Electronic knowledge<br>• Embedded system firmware design <br>• Control theory</p> <p>• PMBus</p> <p><br><Skills><br>• Effective communication skills</p> <p>• Able to mentor junior engineer in problem solving<br>• Able to communicate in English <br>• Software Project management skills</p> <p>• Abilities & Behavior<br>• Being pro-active <br>• Self-motivator</p> <p>• Creative thinking<br>• Detailed oriented</p> <p><br>-- Candidates with less experience can be considered for Junior Engineer position. --</p>
