<p><strong><u>OVERALL MISSION / PURPOSE</u></strong></p> <p>As a Senior electronic engineer, the candidate is expected to have in-depth knowledge in embedded designs and control algorithms in power conversion control. The role involves circuit and component design, evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Job Descriptions </u></strong></p> <p>1. Design and follow up project of switching mode power development for high power and high power density</p> <p>-Electrical circuit design (including magnetic & thermal design) & analysis independently</p> <p>-Supporting Schematic capture & PCB design with CAD engineer</p> <p>-Circuit simulations & calculation & improvement</p> <p>-Know the power application of AI server power (PSU or board mount power) and Cloud service</p> <p> </p> <p>2. FA, Testing & debugging</p> <p>-Failure analysis & problem solving with corrective/preventive actions</p> <p>-Supporting Unit power up & waveforms' capture in each design stages</p> <p>-Required bench works of manual & ATE test independently</p> <p> </p> <p>3. Design documentation</p> <p>-Customer Specification & technical documentation check </p> <p>-BOM maintenance</p> <p>-Responsible on Design review minutes</p> <p>-Other Design related documents such as compliance matrix, test plan, .., etc generation & maintenance</p> <p> </p> <p>4. Design support</p> <p>-Component sourcing & evaluation</p> <p>-Works with PM, support teams and factory to ensure smooth development</p> <p>-Participates in conference calls with customer & supplies</p> <p>-Provides technical supports for production and field problems</p> <p> </p> <p>5. Act as liaison between Artesyn engineering and customer</p> <p>-Must have good communication skills</p> <p>-Must know how to assess customer requirements</p> <p>-Must be able to socialize with different types of people</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Requirement</u></strong></p> <ul> <li><a name="_Hlk73705776"></a><a name="_Hlk73705759"></a>Diploma / Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent or related, advanced degree is preferred</li> <li>Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in electronic design of switching mode power supply; Experience in Hyperscale projects is highly preferred</li> <li>Proficiency in simulation tools; Simplis/Psim/Mathcad/Ansys MAXWELL or Q3D</li> <li>Able to work independently and have good judgment and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Solid experience on research & development of server power supply or board mount power</li> <li>Strong knowledge of power electronics and bench work; knowledge of firmware programming is plus</li> <li>Initiative and a good team player</li> <li>Good organizing skill in project planning</li> <li>Good presentation skill and good coaching skill</li> <li>Self-motivator and creative thinking</li> <li>Good written/spoken Mandarin/English and strong communication skill to handle communication with internal and external parties</li> </ul> <p><em> </em></p> <p><em>Candidate with less experience may be considered for the position of Electronic Engineer.</em></p>
