Receives instructions on daily work and new assignments as duties may vary day to day.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"> </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Possesses good knowledge of circuitry and troubleshooting that could be moderate to complex in nature.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Ability to fault find down to component level and contribute towards development improvements.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Uses specifications, drawings, schematics, and verbal/written instructions to test and troubleshoot units.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Maintains fixturing, performs calibration, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">May aid with training other AE employees in established processes or function as technical interface with other departments.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Documents development notes, corrections actions and test procedure and results accurately.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Communicate openly and effectively in a professional manner and works under limited supervision. </span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Initiates and contributes to improving processes, lead times, through-put and cost reductions.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Ensures all quality processes and procedures are followed per department FP’s.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ability to apply manufacturing processes.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Working knowledge of basic PC programs. (i.e., Excel, Word, etc.)</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Thorough understanding of production/service procedures, ESD, 5S, and SAP</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Certified in all required production/service training per FP209.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Not required but desirable: solid understanding of Materials/Logistics procedures, ECO process, and First Article process.</span></span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><u> </u></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Previous experience in electrical circuits and assemblies testing preferred.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Proven ability and experience maintaining flexibility and being able to adapt in a team environment.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Understands Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Intermediate computer knowledge to include Excel, Word and Outlook.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Proficient in all pertinent SAP applications.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Minimum of two years electronic testing and troubleshooting (or equivalent).</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Assists in designing, developing and implementing new test fixturing.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Knowledge and understanding of ESD practices.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:'Aptos', sans-serif">HNC or Electrical Electronics Degree</span></span></li> </ul>
