<p><strong>At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. </strong></p> <p></p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Overview</b></H2> </div><div><p>The Manufacturing Team Leader supervises the production of mechanical assemblies for products of low to high-level complexity/density and monitors the inventory control related to that. <strong>1st shift M-F 06:00am – 2:30pm</strong></p> <p><strong>Duties:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Coordinate the daily flow of work in the production cell.</li> <li>Assist in drafting and training of SOP and work instructions.</li> <li>Daily interaction with department team lead and supervisor to maximize productivity and prioritize daily activities. </li> <li>Provide feedback to Supervisors regarding Employee performance.</li> <li>Mentoring team to troubleshoot and fix processing problems.</li> <li>Providing guidance to meet work cell performance metrics.</li> <li>Training all associates on duties and responsibilities in all job classifications.</li> <li>Update training matrix.</li> <li>Hold daily TIER I meetings and adhere to Team Leader Standard work requirements.</li> <li>Participate and lead continuous improvement initiatives through TEOA.</li> <li>Attention to 5S, Safety Standards, and fair, firm, and consistent enforcement of company and plant procedures and policies.</li> <li>Work functions may require data entry into computer systems.</li> <li>Meet all workmanship, quality and output standards.</li> <li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>1 to 2 years of manufacturing/production experience with leading teams. </li> <li>Working knowledge of hand tools and Standard Operating Procedures.</li> <li>Will work overtime to support production goals, as needed.</li> <li>A safety and quality conscious attitude working in a team environment. </li> <li>Experience with SAP.</li> <li>Lean Manufacturing experience desired.</li> <li>HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.</li> <li>Must be a United Stated Citizen.</li> <li>Good verbal, writing and listening skills.</li> <li>Ability to multitask and prioritize work in order to successfully accomplish job duties.</li> <li>Basic computer skills.</li> <li>Excel, PowerPoint is a plus.</li> <li>Follow company and department guidelines, procedures and policies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical requirements:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Must be able to lift/push/pull and carry a minimum weight of 50 lbs.</li> <li>Frequently required to extend arms and hands between knees and shoulders, frequent holding and grasping with hands.</li> <li>Frequent standing and walking is required in this job.</li> </ul> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Competencies</b></H2> </div><div><div>Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork</div></div></div></div><p><strong>ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY</strong></p> <p>TE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
