<p><strong>Your tasks:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement global strategies for the IC (active components) product category to drive business growth and achieve cost savings.</li> <li>Conducting procurement market analyses and contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure best-in-class prices and terms.</li> <li>Conducting Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ), including benchmarking and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses to ensure optimal supplier selection.</li> <li>Supplier selection and management in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent alignment with corporate strategies and policies.</li> <li>Planning and monitoring material cost trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.</li> <li>Optimizing procurement and sourcing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance.</li> <li>Contribute to product lifecycle management, including component selection, product launch, and end-of-life management.</li> <li>Maintaining and managing procurement-related master data, ensuring data quality and compliance with company standards.</li> <li>Preparing monthly purchasing reports and assisting with the definition and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure purchasing performance.</li> <li>Providing support and escalating issues related to material shortages, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your profile: </strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification</li> <li>Alternatively: Business training combined with several years of professional experience in a similar position</li> <li>Several years of professional experience in procurement and/or supply chain management, ideally in the electronics industry</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of electronic components and assemblies</li> <li>Experience in contract negotiations and supplier management</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking</li> <li>Excellent negotiation skills and a strong ability to get things done</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset</li> <li>Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office</li> <li>Ideally with experience in SAP S/4HANA</li> <li>Excellent written and spoken German and English skills</li> </ul>
