<p><strong>Your Tasks:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Development and implementation of global strategies with focus on the commodity mechanics (coolings & heatspreader) and to drive business growth and cost savings.</span></li> <li>Conducting procurement market analyses and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure best-in-class pricing and terms</li> <li>Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) Management, including benchmarking and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to ensure optimal supplier selection</li> <li>Supplier Selection and Management by Collaborating with cross-functional teams to select and manage suppliers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with company policies.</li> <li>Planning and controlling material cost development, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements</li> <li>Optimization of procurement and sourcing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall business performance</li> <li>Participation in product life cycle management activities, including component selection, introduction, and phase-out management</li> <li>Master Data Maintenance related to procurement topics, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company standards</li> <li>Creation and verification of cost calculations for product launches, applying design for cost principles to ensure cost-effective solutions</li> <li>Creation of monthly procurement reports and supporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement performance</li> <li>Supporting resolution of material shortages and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and minimize business impact</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your profile:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification</span></li> <li>Alternatively, a commercial apprenticeship combined with several years of professional experience in a similar position</li> <li>Several years of professional experience in Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management, ideally in the electronics or mechanical sector</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of electronic and mechanical components and assemblies</li> <li>Experience in contract negotiation and supplier management</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking</li> <li>Excellent negotiation skills and assertiveness</li> <li>Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team</li> <li>Very good knowledge of MS Office and ideally experience with SAP S/4HANA</li> <li>Very good written and spoken English skills</li> <li><span>Very good Mandarin language skills</span></li> </ul> <p> </p>
