About this role
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">Tasks:</span></strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Develop and maintain hardware and software test solutions for congatec computer modules used in mass production and service centers.</li> <li>Define test concepts and test specifications based on product requirements and manufacturing needs.</li> <li>Design and implement test hardware, including interface circuits, fixtures, and control electronics.</li> <li>Develop and maintain test software and automation scripts (e.g. Python, Bash, C).</li> <li>Support prototype and pilot builds, including validation of test setups and debugging of hardware issues.</li> <li>Analyze and troubleshoot product and test failures during development and production.</li> <li>Select and evaluate electronic components and test equipment for new test systems.</li> <li>Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, test procedures, and system documentation.</li> <li>Ensure proper version control and lifecycle management of test systems and software.</li> <li>Collaborate with manufacturing partners and suppliers to deploy and maintain test solutions in production.</li> <li>Provide training and technical support for manufacturing teams operating the test systems.</li> <li>Support continuous improvement of test coverage, reliability and efficiency in production testing.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Profile:</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.</li> <li>3+ years of experience in hardware/software development for test systems or manufacturing environments recommended.</li> <li>Strong understanding of embedded systems (x86/ARM platforms) and hardware debugging.</li> <li>Experience with Linux-based systems, firmware or BIOS environments is an advantage.</li> <li>Programming experience in Python, C, or Bash for test automation.</li> <li>Familiarity with functional testing, production test systems, and automated test equipment (ATE).</li> <li>Ability to read and create schematics and hardware documentation.</li> <li>Experience with test instrumentation (oscilloscope, power supplies, signal generators, etc.).</li> <li>Familiarity with version control systems and engineering documentation tools.</li> <li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.</li> <li>Good communication skills and ability to work in an international engineering environment.</li> <li>Structured and self-organized working style.</li> <li>Basic soldering and lab skills are a plus.</li> </ul>
