At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Overview</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <div>The India Engineering Services offers a value-added service to the global TE engineering team and its customers by supporting Product Compliance and Conflict Minerals activities.<br>They assist TE affiliates and direct customers with product compliance and conflict minerals initiatives.<br>- Establishing the overall product compliance strategy by aligning with corporate objectives to develop and implement global product compliance within the team.<br>- Ensuring that Business Unit products meet all TE Environmental regulations.<br>- Promoting adherence to and implementation of TE PEC policies and legislative requirements within the India team.<br>- Overseeing supplier material declarations and compliance coding activities, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/customers to resolve issues related to material declarations.<br>- Utilizing AI-enabled insights and digital solutions to enhance compliance data quality, operational efficiency, and turnaround times.</div> <p style="margin:0.0cm;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-weight:bold"> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li> <ul> <li>Provide material declarations and technical support to TE affiliates & customer requests on product compliance and conflict mineral requests as well address / resolve customer queries.</li> <li>Evaluate supplier material declarations based on substance usage assessment for TE products, leveraging digital tools and system validations</li> <li>Knowledge on the latest legislations related to the environmental regulatory compliance of various countries having TE’s product footprint</li> <li>Collaborate with global purchasing groups to drive closure with non-responsive suppliers using data-driven tracking and escalation mechanisms</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>Participate in meetings / monthly /Bi-monthly Tele-conferences related to product compliance updates and system enhancements.</li> <li>Interact directly with customers / TE affiliates for compliance or conflict Mineral or system related queries.</li> <li>Awareness of various systems / data repository, engineering processes</li> <li>Oversee and guide accurate entry, validation, and management of material declarations across multiple customer formats and web-based compliance portals.</li> <li>Capability to lead a team of FTE’s & associates for day-to-day compliance operations, delivery, and quality metrics.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Support the development and implementation of CO2 calculation (PCF, Scope 3) according to the GHG Protocol, ISO 14064 / 14067</li> </ul> <p>Digital, AI & Automation Focus</p> <ul> <li>Drive adoption of <strong>AI-enabled tools, analytics, and automation</strong> to enhance supplier data validation, and compliance assessments.</li> <li>Partner with IT, digital, and business teams to <strong>optimize and automate product compliance systems</strong> and reporting mechanisms.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to apply <strong>AI‑enabled solutions or intelligent dashboards</strong> to improve data quality and turnaround time.</li> <li>Initiate and lead efficiency improvement projects with a strong focus on <strong>process automation, productivity, quality, and scalability</strong></li> <li>Identify areas of waste and work towards continuous improvement with a high <strong>focus on productivity & Quality</strong><strong>.</strong></li> </ul> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>8 to 10 years’ relevant experience in a product compliance and conflict Mineral role, including managing large teams preferably at an enterprise level.</li> <li>Bachelor of Mechanical / Chemical / Polymer Engineering / MSc in chemistry</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in working as a team and across regions / time zones.
