You will work closely with the project team and contractors to ensure environmental requirements are effectively implemented across all stages of construction. This is a hands-on role suited to a field-focused professional who thrives on site, enjoys working autonomously, and is passionate about driving strong environmental performance across large-scale projects.You will support the onsite implementation of environmental management system requirements, ensuring compliance with environmental approvals, regulatory obligations, and project commitments throughout construction.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Communicate Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) requirements to contractors across all project phases</li> <li>Conduct site inspections and monitoring activities, preparing reports and raising non-conformances where required</li> <li>Provide environmental advice and day-to-day support to project teams and contractors</li> <li>Collate and review contractor environmental reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance</li> <li>Deliver environmental inductions and training to project and contractor teams</li> <li>Support audits and inspections alongside clients, regulators, and key stakeholders</li> <li>Maintain environmental registers, documentation, and compliance tracking systems</li> <li>Support site handovers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>About You</strong><br>You hold a tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, with significant experience in a construction or infrastructure environment. You bring strong knowledge of environmental management systems, monitoring, and compliance frameworks, and are confident working in a site-based role. You have strong communication and decision-making skills, with a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work autonomously.
