This role serves as the <strong>Department Performance Improvement Coordinator (DPIC)</strong>, <strong>Maintenance Rule Coordinator (MRC)</strong>, and <strong>Department Training Coordinator</strong>, while also supporting additional Engineering coordination needs as assigned. The Engineering Coordinator works closely with Engineering leadership, System Engineering, Training, Work Management, and other station departments to maintain program health, drive continuous improvement, and ensure effective execution of engineering processes.</p> <p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p> <p><strong>Department Performance Improvement Coordinator (DPIC)</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Coordinate departmental performance improvement initiatives and monitor effectiveness of corrective actions.</li> <li>Maintain awareness of equipment and programmatic performance trends and support data analysis for Engineering leadership.</li> <li>Ensure timely completion of department actions, performance indicators, self‑assessments, benchmarking activities, and improvement plans.</li> <li>Support excellence initiatives such as eliminating station vulnerabilities and advancing Engineering performance.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Maintenance Rule Coordinator (MRC)</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Administer the Maintenance Rule Program in accordance with applicable procedures, including EN‑DC‑203 (Maintenance Rule Program)</li> <li>Coordinate (a)(1) and (a)(2) evaluations, performance criteria monitoring, and functional failure assessments.</li> <li>Facilitate interactions with PRA, System Engineering, and Operations to ensure accurate performance monitoring and documentation.</li> <li>Support related condition reports, monitoring changes, and Maintenance Rule basis updates.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Department Training Coordinator</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Manage Engineering Department training needs, qualifications, and continuing training requirements.</li> <li>Coordinate onboarding, training schedules, and records to ensure compliance with station and fleet training requirements.</li> <li>Serve as the point of contact between Engineering and the Training Department to support effective program execution.</li> <li>Track training performance and ensure alignment with organizational and fleet standards.</li> </ul> <p><strong>General Engineering Coordinator Duties</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Provide programmatic and administrative support to Engineering managers and supervisors.</li> <li>Coordinate departmental document control needs, action tracking, and preparation for audits, assessments, and inspections.</li> <li>Support department communication, meeting logistics, and cross‑functional coordination.</li> <li>Assist with outage preparation and execution, including coordination with PM, ER, and Outage Management organizations.</li> <li>Maintain strong working knowledge of station processes, procedures, and engineering workflows.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field; OR equivalent experience in nuclear plant engineering support or program coordination.</li> <li>Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to interpret technical information, regulatory requirements, and programmatic documentation.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and station software tools (e.g., Maximo, eB, PI, Action Tracking tools).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Experience in Engineering, Work Management, Training, or Performance Improvement within a nuclear facility.</li> <li>Familiarity with the Maintenance Rule (10 CFR 50.65) and related fleet procedures.</li> <li>Experience managing technical or regulatory programs.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>This role may be filled at the <strong>Engineer I – Senior Lead</strong> or <strong>Technical Specialist I – IV</strong> level depending on candidate qualifications.</li> </ul> <p>Some duties may evolve based on department needs and organizational priorities</p><p><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>Primary Location:</b> Louisiana-Killona Louisiana : Killona</span> <br> <span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>Job Function</b>: Engineering<br> <b>FLSA Status</b>: Professional</span> <br> <span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>Relocation Option:</b> No Relocation Offered<br> <b>Union description/code</b>: NON BARGAINING UNIT</span> <br> <span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>Number of Openings</b>: 1<br> <b>Req ID:</b> 123665<br> <b>Travel Percentage</b>:Up to 25%</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">An Equal Opportunity Employer, Minority/Female/Disability/Vets.
