The selected candidate is required to live within, or relocate to within, 45 miles of the service center headquarters. Location requirements may differ for certain roles based on established regional operational needs JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Under close supervision, following specific instructions as to methods and working details, must be willing and able to perform the less difficult tasks involved in making tests, repairs, adjustments, and calibrations on relays, meters, telemeters, supervisory control, carrier current equipment, and other similar apparatus and related equipment in laboratory and field, and be qualified to do the following and related work as assigned: <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt">Connect and read meters, instruments, etc.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt">Take notes in field and laboratory and prepare routine reports.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt">Perform necessary housekeeping.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt">Use hand tools.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt">Handle ladders and work on poles, structures and towers, and have ability to handle self in a safe and efficient manner.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt">Operate Company's vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt">Assist in switching.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt">Assist in constructing, installing, and maintaining all relaying and associated equipment.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt">Assist in storm restoration in
