JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: The ability to perform all aspects of the Lineworker job function including but not limited to the day-to-day aspects of maintaining and building overhead and underground electrical facilities. Responsible various levels of learning, performing, and/or leading other lineworkers, material maintenance as well as, up to and including, aerial and underground work including utility distribution construction tasks. Working with a Live Safe mindset in all tasks; ensuring to mitigate hazards where identified. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Lineworker II <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to perform overhead tasks, including energized primary cover up to 34,500 volts.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to understand transformer theories including bank installations, tap settings, and identifying and constructing multiple secondary voltage applications.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to learn and perform simple primary voltage switching (up to 34,500 volts) tasks and applications.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to lift, rig and tie knots to set up, construct, frame poles, and change out cross-arms, identifying materials and understanding distribution construction specifications.</li> </ul> Lineworker III <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to perform all tasks included in Helper through Lineworker II</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to build and maintain underground residential distribution circuits, including but not limited to, prepare/operate pad mount switchgear, install and troubleshoot URD circuits and switching/tagging URD primary cable.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to learn three phase primary tasks to include safe operation and removal/installation of single and three phase reclosers, changing out insulators, and installing and replacing Gang Operated Airbrake Switches (GOABs).</li> </ul> Lineworker Sr <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to perform all tasks include in Helper through Lineworker III.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Demonstrate strong Leadership capabilities including indirect crew leadership.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to learn and perform advanced primary voltage switching (up to 34,500 volts) tasks and applications.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to perform advanced Lineworker tasks on Regulators, capacitors banks, Alternate Switching Scheme, and Intelliruptor devices.</li> </ul> All levels must be able to perform the following: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Maintaining a well-organized jobsite to ensure the surroundings are safe.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Learning, completing, and performing (Lineworker I-Sr) (as necessary) all mandated training, such as but not limited to, First Aid, CPR, etc.</li> </ul> MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education required of the position: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">High School Diploma or equivalent.</li> </ul> Minimum experience required of the position: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">6 months -
