Job Summary: Direct and manage the engineering activities (mainly through consulting A/E firms) for major utility-scale generation projects (including conventional, Energy Storage and renewable generation), major environmental control projects, and plant improvement projects. Provide expertise to support development and conceptual design of NRG generation projects including development of project scoping specifications, site due diligence support and layouts, EPC contracting technical interface, as well as managing fuel, water, wastewater and electrical interconnection scoping/contracting support. discipline team to perform appropriate level of engineering activities to develop an investment grade project estimate for presentation to NRG Sr. Management & Board of Directors for project 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;Times New Roman', serif">Applicants with electrical engineering degrees are expected to provide plant electrical and interconnection equipment sizing guidance such as transformers & breakers and ensuring equipment characteristics support Transmission Owner and NRG technical requirements.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;Times New Roman', serif">Applicants with mechanical or other engineering degrees are expected to be subject matter experts in their specific discipline supporting plant conceptual designs and equipment sizing. </li> </ul> Minimum
