Job Summary: The Plant Specialist is a position intended for an individual with extensive experience and advanced subject matter knowledge in a power plant. This knowledge can be gained through experience or a combination of a college/technical training and experience. In this position the individual will be expected to provide advanced technical support for a given area or type of equipment in the plant. The role will include but not be limited to providing technical and project management support for the facility. This position is also responsible for maintaining Safety and Environmental compliance for the facility in accordance with NRG Standards and Policies.
