<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Description</H2> </div><div><p><strong>POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the establishment and day-to-day operations of the Ops Planning & Analytics (OPPA) unit, driving data-informed capacity planning and analysis to support evidence-based operational decisions across KLIA. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Lead the development and continuous improvement of OPPA's planning frameworks, analytical models, and reporting infrastructure.</li> <li>Oversee capacity vs. demand analysis across terminal operational areas including check-in, screening, gates, and baggage.</li> <li>Drive dynamic manpower deployment planning in coordination with respective operations leads and HC. </li> <li>Establish and maintain the operational performance and analytic dashboards and reporting cycles.</li> <li>Manage and mentor OPPA team members, building unit capability over time.</li> <li>Serve as primary interface between OPPA and senior operations leadership, translating analytical findings into decision-ready recommendations.</li> <li>Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on on data access, pipeline development, and system integration.</li> <li>Support preparation of management decks, briefing materials, and strategic updates for management. </li> <li>Lead benchmarking exercises and best practice adoption from comparable airports.</li> <li>Monitor implementation of planning recommendations and track outcomes.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Challenges</H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li>Building unit credibility and analytical infrastructure from siloed working and legacy systems.</li> <li>Navigating cross-functional dependencies to obtain timely, reliable operations data.</li> <li>Translating complex analytical outputs into operationally actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Skills</H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills</li> <li>Able to translate large and provide data insights into actionable operational recommendations</li> <li>Clear communicator, written and verbal and able to act on initiative , proactively engage with mulitiple stakeholders to deliver projects. </li> <li>Comfortable working in ambiguous, build-from-scratch environments. </li> <li>Self-directed with strong planning and organising discipline.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Relevant Industries</H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years relevant working experience.</li> <li>Good knowledge in all aspect of Airport Operations and familiar with Annex 9, Annex 14 and other airport regulations.</li> <li>Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g. Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage. </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Education</H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Operations Management, Economics, or equivalent.</li> <li>Experience in the Airport or Industrial Logistics sector will be an added advantage.</li> <li>Minimum CGPA requirement: 3.00.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Unique Requirement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in SQL, Python - Basic Modeling, Power BI/Tableau for Visualisation or equivalent as basic hardfloors, familiarity with data pipeline tools is an advantage </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Additional Information</H2> </div><div><p>Open for Malaysian citizens only.<br>Please be reminded that only online applications will be entertained.<br>Applications should reach us by <strong>7 Juy 2026</strong>.<br>Only the shortlisted will be notified.</p></div></div></div>
