Core Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Ensure the delivered product quality.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Implementation and development of the quality management system for the plant.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Support QC inspections and surveillance processes.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Management of the QA/QC team.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Guide, motivate, assess, control and develop the staff members.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Budget use with respect to the economic goals.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Decision making in case of quality problems.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Minimize operating costs from quality related problems.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Support the quality improvement process with OCTG customers.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Play a vital part in customer relationships, communications, and negotiations.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Play a vital part in the management of supplier relationships.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Act as a consultant on quality related issues and topics.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Manage supplier quality system audits and production capacity appraisals.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Participate in quality improvement process meetings with suppliers.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Maintain a non-conformance reporting system.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Customer liaison and support including the leading of plant tours if necessary.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Identification and relationship building and management of third-party suppliers and service providers.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Review and compliance with health, safety, and environmental protection policies according to the management system.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Coordination and organization of the departments of quality management and the production areas.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Analysis / evaluation of quality problems / quality management problems and claims.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Development / review of quality objectives / benchmarks.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Implementing of preventive/ corrective actions.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Quality-based selection/ approval of suppliers for raw material, test equipment and subcontractors.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">implementation of internal audits.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Compliance and implementation of the management system (processes and standards).</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Information / reporting to the management team and Plant Manager.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Cooperation with the Production Managers (Steel & Tube mill), Logistics and Sales.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Working with customers, subcontractors, and inspection agencies for quality assurance and support of external audits.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Cooperation with Operations (Hot Rolling Mill & Finishing), Supply Chain Management, and Maintenance.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">.</li> </ul> Job Requirements: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Master's degree in engineering (e.g. Metallurgy, industrial, mechanical) or a related field of studies is preferred;
