Core Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="list-style-type:none"> </li> <li>Manage ‘directed buy’ suppliers pricing with coordination from sales team, plant controlling and suppliers.</li> <li>Manage ‘directed buy’ supplier contracts and negotiations of such contracts with global suppliers.</li> <li>Surveils the local procurement markets, informing the Commodity Managers of relevant trends/developments</li> <li>Negotiates with regional suppliers (new business decisions, annual price and savings negotiations) in agreement with Commodity Manager</li> <li>Carries out request for Quotations, Bid Analysis and supplier recommendations in agreement with Commodity Manager</li> <li>Executes supplier visits/audits with Supplier Quality Engineers</li> <li>Conducts cost analysis activities with Cost Analysis Team</li> <li>Provides assistance to the Commodity Managers for tenders, regular audits and supplier evaluations</li> <li>Responsible for everyday communication with suppliers</li> <li>Carries out contract management, incl. contract data maintenance</li> <li>Manages Engineering Change Process in production phase (i.e. Process "Make & Deliver")</li> <li>Troubleshoots (supports technical and time-critical ad-hoc requests/requirements)</li> <li>Executes measures in the area of commodity reporting and performance measurement</li> <li>Develops and updates templates, tools and standards in conjunction with the Competence Center</li> <li>Ensures regular communication with internal, external interfaces</li> <li>Communicate effectively between business unit and purchasing.</li> <li>Ability to handle multiple projects (multi-task)</li> <li>Track status of programs including financial status.</li> <li>Conduct buyer responsible APQP with suppliers</li> <li>Create RFQ's with detailed information.</li> </ul> Job Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field</li> <li>Years of working experience: 3-5 years </li> <li>Commodity Buying experience </li> <li>Occasional travel required (approx. 20%)</li> <li>Minimum 2 years automotive industry experience</li> <li>Skill in the following areas: Negotiation, Cost Analysis, APQP, Project management</li> </ul> Your contact <div class="csb-contact-plugin"> Charlotte Rose Muraske BENTELER Human Resources Phone: 6163339841 <a href=""></a> </div> Your new employer The BENTELER Group always has the answer.
