As a <strong>CNC Boring Mill Operator (Kotteraar)</strong> at <strong>Bilfinger Gears & Services</strong> (formerly Stork), you will work on high‑quality gearboxes used worldwide in maritime, petrochemical and heavy industrial applications.</span></div> <div><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">You will operate a <strong>CNC-controlled boring mill (Heidenhain)</strong> in a modern workshop at our Waalhaven location in Rotterdam. Your craftsmanship directly contributes to the reliability and performance of critical industrial installations. Thanks to thorough onboarding and guidance from experienced machinists, you will continue to develop your technical skills and expertise.</span></div> <h2><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Your responsibilities</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Machining complex gearbox components using a CNC boring mill</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Setting up tools and continuously improving milling and boring processes</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Calling up, adjusting and writing CNC programs (Heidenhain)</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Reading and interpreting complex technical drawings</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Measuring and checking products using advanced measuring equipment</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Actively contributing to process optimisation and efficiency improvements</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Working safely and accurately according to quality standards</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">What do you bring?</span></h2> <div><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">You are a precise and quality‑driven professional who enjoys working with complex machining processes.
