DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul> <li>To provide technical and engineering team leadership</li> <li>To be able to complete all relevant project documentation</li> <li>To perform highly skilled commissioning testing on instrumentation and control apparatus as per written procedure</li> <li>To perform commissioning activities on, control circuits, VSD’s, AHU, level control devices, flow control devices, temperature control devices and pressure control devices</li> <li>To supervise and carryout the correct execution of commissioning procedures, for assigned instrument/electrical tasks with guidance from the Project Commissioning Engineer</li> <li>To be able to read, interpret and work from vendor documentation, project drawings, schematic diagrams and equipment manuals</li> <li>To analyse work problems and make corrections when required to facilitate the completion of system assignments</li> <li>Lead the technical and quality requirements on projects</li> <li>Ensure project adherence to company quality processes and procedures</li> <li>Allocate tasks to the commissioning test team and monitor progress</li> <li>Establish positive working relationships with immediate supervision and personnel departments</li> <li>Ability to read, understand and follow ALL safe systems of work</li> <li>Working closely with and supporting the Project Commissioning Engineer, in all aspects of project technical delivery and scope management</li> <li>Ensure project adherence to company quality processes and procedures</li> <li>Identification of project opportunities and variations</li> <li>To support the project commissioning team in identifying and managing risks and issues</li> <li>To support the project commissioning team in the project delivery strategy development and planning</li> <li>To provide health and safety leadership by example </li> </ul> FUNCTION: The EC&I Test Team Leader (Commissioning) is normally expected to undertake the following: <ul> <li>Undertake or manage site surveys as required</li> <li>Undertake or manage Toobox talks within the team as required</li> <li>Develop test specification & design testing methodology with the team</li> <li>Develop site work documentation with team input as necessary (risk assessment, method statement, site test documentation)</li> <li>Develop O & M documentation – with input from project team as necessary</li> <li>Supervise full integrated system testing, CFAT, SAT and installation & calibration testing if required</li> <li>Undertake or manage observations, variation and reworks</li> </ul> QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: <ul> <li>Previous technical experience in the field of Electrical, Instrumentation and Control</li> <li>Previous experience of the Nuclear Industry</li> <li>Previous experience of supervising a team of Electrical/Instrument technicians</li> </ul> If you wish to speak to a member of the recruitment team, please contact 01224 246246.
