We enhance the efficiency of assets, ensuring a high level of availability and reducing maintenance costs.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">We have extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities; specialising in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">This commitment is delivered by an experienced and highly competent workforce of over 4,500 employees operating from 14 offices in strategic industrial hubs, upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance and quality.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> </span></p><p><strong>Highview Power Carrington – LAES Project (FOAK)</strong><br><strong>50</strong><strong> </strong><strong>MW / 300</strong><strong> </strong><strong>MWh Liquid Air Energy Storage Facility | Greater Manchester</strong></p> <p>First‑of‑a‑kind, commercial‑scale greenfield delivery of a <strong>50</strong><strong> </strong><strong>MW / 300</strong><strong> </strong><strong>MWh Liquid Air Energy Storage (LAES)</strong> facility, supporting long‑duration energy storage and the UK’s net‑zero transition.</p> <p>The project utilises <strong>proprietary LAES technology</strong>, converting surplus renewable electricity into stored liquid air, with later pressurisation and reheating to drive turbines for electricity generation.</p> <p><strong>Role / Scope (Bilfinger UK):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Principal contractor for <strong>Mechanical, Electrical &amp; Instrumentation (MEI) construction</strong>, including <strong>structural steelwork</strong></li> <li>Delivery of complex, safety‑critical systems within a novel technology environment</li> <li>Working within a large <strong>high‑performing, multi‑disciplinary integrated delivery team</strong> on a technically challenging FOAK scheme</li> </ul> <p>A landmark project combining innovation, engineering excellence, and collaboration to deliver one of the UK’s most advanced energy storage assets.</p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>The Role</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">The Senior Planner is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all project schedules across the full lifecycle of the project, inclusive of all required supporting documentation, procedures and standards. These responsibilities range from liaising with the business development, engineering and project management teams to develop a fully cost and resource loaded schedule for tender / contractual submissions, through to the management of the periodic progress updates and submissions with all required reporting outputs. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">The responsibilities of the Senior Planner include (but are not limited to): </span></p> <ul style="margin-bottom:8.0px"> <li style="list-style-type:none"> <ul> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpFirst"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Development and management of all key scheduling processes and key documentation (inclusive of robust basis of schedule, WBS/OBS/CBS structures, Cost Accounts, activity coding structures)</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Development and management of all required fully cost and resource loaded Primavera P6 schedules as needed for the Project, inclusive of integrated master schedules, detailed construction schedules (level 4 / 5) and periodic lookahead schedules.</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Embedding schedule risk management best practices, ensuring that all schedules contain appropriate time risk allowances using Quantitative Schedule Risk Management Analysis (QSRA).</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Management of the alignment and interaction between the schedule, project cost estimate / cashflow and resource forecasting and utilisation.</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Establish effective change control management including the use of techniques such as critical path analysis and float erosion to provide early warning of potential issues.</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">To establish and manage the periodic progress capture, schedule update and submission process and outputs in-line with NEC4 requirements.</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Development and production of all required monthly reporting outputs (e.g. planned vs actual progress reporting / narrative, S-Curves, manpower histograms) </span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Work closely with the Project Controls Manager and commercial teams to establish cost engineering systems to monitor, control and report costs (inclusive of all Earned Value Management output requirements).</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Provide contract management support including development of bespoke and/or generic rules of credit, KPI development and monitoring, NEC programme acceptance management and production / assessment of compensation event impact schedules</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Liaise with PMs/RDs to manage the provision of appropriate resources and expertise to successfully deliver the project control activities</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpLast"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Support the wider business with the identification and adoption of project controls best practices</span></li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p class="SubauflistungCxSpLast"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></span></p> <ul style="margin-bottom:8.0px"> <li style="list-style-type:none"> <ul> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpFirst"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Minimum of 8 years’ experience in an EPC environment</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">NEC3/4 qualification and/or significant experience</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Expert level capability in the use of Primavera P6 planning software</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Capability in Microsoft 365 applications (MS Office, teams, etc.)</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpLast"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Strong communication skills both verbal and written, plus strong analytical skills</span></li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>Desirable</strong></span></p> <ul style="margin-bottom:8.0px"> <li style="list-style-type:none"> <ul> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpFirst"><span style="font-size:14.0px">BSc / BEng / MSc in Engineering, Construction Project Management or relevant subject</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">APM, AcostE or APE membership and/or qualification</span></li> <li class="SubauflistungCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Certified Oracle P6 Training (P102 &amp;
