The Senior Accountant will have an active role in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, monthly closing, journal entries and account analysis. </span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Accounting: Coordinate the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all cost incurred are properly recorded, preparing/reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations. Identify and resolve financial accounting issues.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Reporting & Analysis: Preparation of Monthly financial statements/forecasts in One Stream software. Assist in preparation of management reports and accompanying schedules, worksheets, and narratives including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports. Coordinate and complete periodic Corporate Tax Packages and regulatory filings. </span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Audits: Assist with external and internal audits /reviews. Complete requested materials timely. </span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Internal Control: Evaluate and Document procedures and workflow to achieve accurate and efficient accounting systems, safeguard company assets and ensure transactions are recorded properly. </span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Systems: Assist with system enhancements to increase efficiency, including testing and final approval for upgrades of system reports and automating processes. </span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Cash: Forecasting and monitoring cash projections to actual </span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Fixed Assets: Maintain fixed asset subsidiary ledger in Sage FAS software, depreciation schedules, costing appropriateness of new assets and monitoring asset costs against approved expenditures.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedure. </span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Perform other related duties as required.</span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Qualifications</H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelors of Science in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent, required.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">4+ years of progressive experience in the accounting field, including experience in a manufacturing industry, required.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">4+ years of intermediate-to-advanced experience with MS Excel required, including functions such as pivot, v-lookups, and formulas.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Must be able to speak, read and write in English. </span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong> </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Through understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, including IFRS.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong analytical and accounting skills.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word and Access.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Intermediate to advanced knowledge of fully integrated ERP software packages.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.</span></li> </ul></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:16.0px">We’ll offer you fantastic challenges and amazing opportunities.
