This role ensures full compliance with applicable regulatory and trade requirements, supports Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems, and promotes a culture of safety, security, and continuous improvement across the site.</div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px"><b>Job Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><div> <h3><span style=""><strong>Environmental, Health, and Safety (HSE)</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Lead incident response, investigation, and reporting for environmental and safety related events, including near misses</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental, Health and Safety training programs to ensure site wide compliance</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Coordinate all HSE training activities, including scheduling, communication, and record retention</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Administer the HSE Learning Management System, including training assignments, record maintenance, and content updates</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Maintain accurate records for incidents, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and ADEM requirements</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Prepare and submit regulatory reports, including Tier II, TRI, and other required filings</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style=""><strong>Export Compliance and Site Security</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Ensure adherence to import and export regulations, including customs laws, trade agreements, tariff classifications, and licensing requirements</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Review import and export documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, customs declarations) for accuracy and compliance risk mitigation</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Validate tariff applicability and classification for import and export transactions</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Support implementation of export control requirements, including Technology Control Plans (TCP), required markings, and training coordination</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Assist with visitor management systems and export compliance tools (e.g., iLobby)</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Support site badging administration and access control processes</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Maintain audit ready records for export compliance, security, and regulatory requirements</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style=""><strong>Systems, Reporting, and Site Support</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Maintain and continuously improve ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, including audits and corrective action processes</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation in support of HSE and compliance activities</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Coordinate safety meetings and provide administrative support to site HSE initiatives</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Serve as a point of contact for employee, contractor, and vendor training inquiries</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Ensure availability of HSE resources, including PPE, tools, and safety materials</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Support leadership with risk assessments, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives</span></li> </ul> </div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px"><b>Job Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li> <div>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related discipline</div> </li> <li> <div>Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental, health, safety, or related functions within a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of OSHA General Industry 1910 standards</div> </li> <li> <div>Familiarity with import and export regulations, trade compliance, or customs processes preferred</div> </li> <li> <div>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications</div> </li> <li> <div>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills</div> </li> <li>Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements, with ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance if needed. </li> </ul></div></div></div><p><span style=""><span style="">We’ll offer you fantastic challenges and amazing opportunities.
