<p>At Alpiq, we are looking for a Product Manager – Trading and Origination to join the New Product Implementation team. In this role, you will manage product life cycle activities with a strong focus on new product design, accurate deal representation, and implementation. You will ensure a structured and comprehensive product offering across Alpiq’s value chains through streamlined and effective end to end processes.</p> <p> </p> <p>Your main responsibilities</p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Manage the full product life cycle, including product design, approval, and phase out processes for Trading and Origination products</li> <li>Collaborate with key stakeholders such as Front Office and Risk on new product ideas, assessing product potential, costs, and risks</li> <li>Secure efficient product approval, implementation, testing, and handover to the respective business lines</li> <li>Foster strong collaboration within New Product Committee (NPC) stakeholders and ensure end to end implementation across systems and processes, identifying and addressing gaps where needed</li> <li>Manage and continuously enhance the new product approval process</li> <li>Initiate and manage product management related projects and initiatives</li> <li>Review product management documentation and ensure the Alpiq Product Catalogue is accurate and up to date</li> <li>Lead weekly product implementation calls with all stakeholders and coordinate communication with internal and external counterparts for product and service implementation </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Your profile</p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Master’s degree in a relevant field</li> <li>At least 3 years of experience in the energy industry within product management, Sales & Origination, Trading, or Risk</li> <li>Knowledge of energy structured products and strong understanding of standard energy products</li> <li>Excellent stakeholder management capabilities and a self starting personality</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Strong analytical skills with a structured, organized approach and high attention to detail</li> <li>Fluent in English; German, French, or Italian are an advantage</li> </ul>
