About this role
<p>To strengthen our Business Process Transformation team, we are looking for a Business Process Engineer to ensure the stability, resilience and continuous improvement of Alpiq’s business processes. Reporting to the Head Business Process Transformation, you will play a key role in increasing effectiveness and efficiency through mature processes. </p> <p> </p> <p>Your main responsibilities</p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Manage, in close collaboration with designated process owners and roles, the documentation, maintenance, analysis and continuous improvement of assigned business processes</li> <li>Coordinate Internal Control System (ICS)–related topics with process owners, including supporting risk identification within processes and the design and implementation of appropriate controls</li> <li>Lead and support initiatives and projects aimed at business process optimisation and transformation</li> <li>Define, together with process owners and relevant roles, meaningful and adequate process performance indicators</li> <li>Promote the effectiveness and efficiency of assigned processes through close cooperation with process owners and stakeholders</li> <li>Ensure all documented processes comply with Alpiq’s process modelling standards and conventions</li> <li>Ensure the correct integration and consistency of designed processes within the overall Alpiq process landscape</li> <li>Maintain and continuously enhance process documentation in the designated BPM tool</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Your profile</p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent higher education</li> <li>At least 3 years of professional experience in the energy industry</li> <li>Proven experience in business process management, process design and continuous improvement</li> <li>Knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma</li> <li>Fluent in English and German, written and spoken (French, Spanish and Italian are an advantage)</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and a pronounced process-oriented mindset</li> <li>Can-do mentality combined with a structured, open-minded and detail-oriented working style</li> </ul>
