<p><span id="cke_bm_465S" style="display:none"> </span></p> <p>Req ID 87628 | Shanghai, China, ZF (China) Investment Co., Ltd.</p> <p> </p> <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>About the Team</b></H2> </div><div><p>We are looking for a new colleague in R&D team at our location in Jiuting, Shanghai.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you can look forward to as a Customer Lead Engineer:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Cross-functional and global coordination: Work independently with Sales to align customer requirements and coordinate across ZF TSO, engineering product groups, and global customers.</li> <li>Technical project and platform development leadership: Drive clarification of platform-related technical topics, lead development coordination, represent ZF engineering to customers, and manage cross-project specifications and standards.</li> <li>Acquisition-phase technical leadership: Lead project engineers for platform component acquisitions, proactively manage technical topics, and report development status to management while supporting Sales with customer-specific technical strategies.</li> <li>Customer engagement and technical presentations: Serve as the primary engineering contact, organize and lead technical meetings, prepare and deliver customer presentations, and maintain strong, stable customer relationships through regular status communication.</li> <li>Innovation promotion and market insight: Identify customer pain points and market trends, promote ZF innovation products for future business opportunities, maintain visibility across linked projects, and provide on-site technical support near the customer.</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Your Profile as a Customer Lead Engineer:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience; 5 years professional experience preferably in the automotive supplier industry</li> <li>Know-how in the general context of chassis system and component products</li> <li>Proven competence in dealing with customers and suppliers; Proactive and collaborative approach towards problem solving.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English</li> <li>Good intercultural understanding as well as a willingness to travel frequently.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Why you should choose ZF?</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Individual Growth: At ZF, you accelerate your career by working together across borders and cultures.
