The role acts as a key interface between the plant, suppliers, and cross-functional teams such as engineering, quality, and program management. It plays a critical part in driving sourcing decisions, cost optimization, and the successful launch of new products.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What can you look forward as a Program Buyer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure part availability and purchasing readiness throughout all phases of the project.</li> <li>Lead and coordinate sub‑projects, acting as the main interface between Purchasing, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, and other cross‑functional teams.</li> <li>Manage and track PPAP status for purchased components according to project milestones.</li> <li>Administer and cost‑track Bills of Materials (BoMs), ensuring alignment with target cost objectives.</li> <li>Drive sourcing activities—including timing, cost, and quality targets—in accordance with project requirements.</li> <li>Support supplier selection for new components and coordinate all purchasing‑related project tasks, removing roadblocks and ensuring timely decision‑making.</li> <li>Lead and track relocation, cost‑optimization, and value‑improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Plan and monitor purchasing budgets and revenues in alignment with other functions, including validation and documentation tracking with suppliers.</li> <li>Maintain clear communication between the plant and the corporate purchasing/supply chain organization.</li> <li>Provide internal reporting of KPIs, milestones, and purchasing activity status, and coordinate sub‑project updates towards the customer.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your profile as a Program Buyer:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Fluent in English (writing & Speaking).</li> <li>Analytic skills.</li> <li>Proactive.</li> <li>Microsoft programs knowledge.</li> <li>Bachelor of industrial Engineering, International Relations/Business.</li> <li>Power BI knowledge.</li> <li>Teamwork and communication skills.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Why should choose ZF in Ramos Arizpe:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Medical insurance</li> <li>Life insurance</li> <li>Food vouchers</li> </ul></div></div></div><p> </p> <p>Be part of our ZF team as Program Buyer and apply now!</p> <p>Contact</p> <p>Mariana Lizeth Cantu Barbosa</p> <p> </p>
