The team works closely with portfolio management and engineering functions to ensure technical excellence and compliance across global markets.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:black"><strong>What you can look forward to as Product Development Engineer:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Ensure technical product compliance with internal ZF specifications, processes, and external requirements (substances, certifications, OE/customer specifications) for conventional shock absorbers.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Execute product engineering tasks according to ZF GD-PEPs for aftermarket, including benchmarking, specification definition, technical design, documentation, sample testing, validation, homologation, and product release (PEDA).</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Deliver projects on time, within quality standards, and budget for new product releases and changes to existing products.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development and compliance activities globally.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:black"><strong>Your Profile as Product Development Engineer:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive); Automotive Engineering preferred.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Product Development Engineering experience. Design/development experience in conventional/CDC/air spring shock absorbers.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Strong knowledge of shock absorber development processes (valve tuning, damping force interpretation)/Familiarity with shock absorber manufacturing processes and quality control.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">≥3 years of engineering experience with exposure to process and quality control.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Ability to interpret engineering drawings and operate measurement equipment (CMM, 3D scanner, gauges).</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Excellent English (spoken and written)/Strong communication and teamwork skills; cross-functional collaboration experience.</span></li> </ul> <p><br><span style="color:black"><strong>Why you should choose ZF in Malaysia:</strong></span><br><span style="color:black">Individual Growth: Accelerate your career by collaborating across borders and cultures.
