<p><span id="cke_bm_465S" style="display:none"> </span></p> <p>Req ID 86318 | Yokohama-Kannai, Japan, ZF Japan Co., Ltd.</p> <p> </p> <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>About the Team:</b></H2> </div><div><p>This role is responsible for leading finance and controlling activities at the Japan site.<br>Working closely with Engineering, Project Office, and Division Finance, the Site Controller ensures accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, and compliance with global and local requirements.<br>The position plays a key role in supporting business decisions and operational excellence.</p> <p> </p> <p><em>This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies.</em></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you can look forward to as Site Controller:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with IFRS and Japan GAAP</li> <li>Manage daily financial operations including AP, AR, banking activities, and non-standard journal entries</li> <li>Prepare and analyze actual vs. forecast variances, sales flash, and financial performance reports</li> <li>Coordinate monthly forecasts and lead the annual operating plan including CAPEX and balance sheet</li> <li>Design, implement, and improve SAP-based finance and related business processes</li> <li>Lead statutory audits, tax filings, transfer pricing, and other regulatory requirements under Japanese law</li> <li>Control OPEX and CAPEX spending and provide early warnings on project overruns</li> <li>Report financial results and forecasts to Division Finance Director and local management</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Your Profile as Site Controller:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field</li> <li>5–10 years of professional experience in accounting and/or controlling</li> <li>Strong knowledge of IFRS, Japan GAAP, and Japanese tax requirements</li> <li>Hands-on experience with SAP or equivalent ERP and controlling systems</li> <li>Fluent Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) and business-level English</li> <li>Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills</li> </ul> <p><br>Why you should choose ZF in Japan?</p> <ul> <li>Competitive annual leave policy</li> <li>Hybrid work environment</li> <li>Flexible working hours</li> <li>Collaborative and supportive team culture</li> <li>Opportunities for professional and career growth</li> </ul> <p> </p></div></div></div><p> </p> <p>Be part of our ZF team as Finance Controller and apply now!</p> <p>Contact</p> <p>Aoi Terasaka</p> <p></p>
