You will spend the majority of your time strengthening Health &amp; Safety (approx. 90%), while also contributing to environmental and sustainability initiatives (approx. 10%).</div> <div> </div> <div>Working across all levels of the organisation—including senior leadership, shop floor employees, and the VP—you will play a critical role in embedding a strong and proactive safety culture.</div> <div> </div> <div>Key Responsibilities:</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>Health &amp; Safety (approx. 90%)</div> <div> </div> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with HS standards and legislation</li> <li>Drive incident investigations, workplace assessments, audits, and risk assessments</li> <li>Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training (e.g. emergency preparedness)</li> <li>Identify and mitigate risks across processes, equipment, and workplaces</li> <li>Strengthen mental well-being initiatives in partnership with People &amp; Organisation (P&amp;O)</li> <li>Promote employee health, ergonomics, and safe working conditions</li> <li>Deliver HS reporting and performance insights</li> <li>Provide expert guidance on ergonomics, indoor climate, and workplace safety</li> <li>Build and anchor a strong safety culture with leaders and H&amp;S representatives</li> </ul> <div> </div> <div>Environment (approx. 10%)</div> <div> </div> <ul> <li>Drive environmental initiatives aligned with sustainability ambitions and “Circular for Zero”</li> <li>Support environmental risk assessments related to processes and changes</li> <li>Ensure compliance, reporting, and audit readiness within environmental areas</li> <li>Support data collection and analysis for the annual Environmental Management Review</li> <li>Act as a substitute in Environmental Process Groups when needed</li> </ul> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>About the Department</strong></div> <div>Device Manufacturing New Product Introduction (DMN) is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organisation and plays a pivotal role in developing and manufacturing components for tomorrow’s medical devices.</div> <div>With approximately 500 employees, we partner across the organisation to set the standards for current and future device production—ultimately serving millions of patients worldwide.</div> <div>You will join a dynamic and collaborative environment where we value <strong>trust, ownership, well-being, and continuous development</strong>.</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div> <div>To succeed in this role, you bring:</div> <ul> <li>A relevant degree (e.g. Risk &amp; Safety Management, Production Engineering) or similar background</li> <li>Experience within Health &amp; Safety, including risk assessments and H&amp;S systems (minimum 2 years preferred; strong graduates also considered)</li> <li>Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001)</li> <li>Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across organisational levels</li> <li>Professional proficiency in English and capability to communicate in Danish</li> </ul> <div> </div> <div><strong>Personal Profile</strong></div> <div>You are:</div> <ul> <li>Passionate about Health &amp; Safety and motivated by making a tangible impact</li> <li>Structured, proactive, and able to balance strategic and operational tasks</li> <li>Comfortable influencing decisions and integrating EHS priorities into business objectives</li> <li>Curious and energized by being present on the shop floor and engaging with employees</li> <li>A positive team player who delivers high-quality results through collaboration</li> </ul> <div> </div> <div><strong>Working at Novo Nordisk</strong></div> <div>At Novo Nordisk, people come first.
