<p> </p><p><strong>Novo Nordisk Research Center China (NNRCC)</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: Life-science Park, Changping District, Beijing</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Position</strong></p> <p>• Serve as a member of NNRCC leadership team, contribute to NNRCC's strategy and goal setting. <br>• Lead and develop a highly professional, creative, engaging, energetic and respectful biomolecular technology team. <br>• Lead and develop an advanced biomolecular technology platform to enable NNRCC target discovery in cardiometabolic diseases and project progression upto G0 milestone.</p> <p>• Ensure strategic fit and focus of NNRCC biomolecular technology team.<br>• Lead multifunctional work groups to carry out strategic and/or technology projects. <br>• Build and develop a strong network with internal and external stakeholders for collaboration and maximal value creation.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>• Ph.D. in chemistry, Biochemistry or relevant scientific disciplines.<br>• 10+ years of industrial experience and proven track record of therapeutic API discovery and development.</p> <p>• Extensive hands-on experience in protein/peptide/Ab engineering, production and QC.<br>• Deep understanding of drug discovery and development value chain.<br>• Rich experience in drug molecule development in an industry setting.</p> <p>• Experience with small molecule chemistry principles, synthesis, and characterization is a significant plus.<br>• Familiarity with digital tools for in silico molecule design is an advantage.</p> <p>• 5+ years of experience in people management, possess managerial experience, strategic leadership insights, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</p> <p>• Proficient in verbal and written English.</p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">At Novo Nordisk, we're not chasing quick fixes – we're creating lasting change for long-term health.
