This role blends deep technical contribution with ownership of test strategy, framework development, and light team leadership.</p> <p><br>This position plays a critical part in our competency-based end-to-end tests</li> <li>Hardware in the Loop (HIL) / Software in the Loop (SIL) setups</li> <li>Backend/API and application test automation</li> </ul> </li> <li>Contribute directly to test code, automation frameworks, and shared libraries</li> <li>Troubleshoot complex system interactions across device ↔ embedded software ↔ backend ↔ applications</li> <li>Demonstrate engineering rigor and set IEC 62443 practices)</li> </ul> </li> <li>Define automation scope and manual testing boundaries</li> <li>Ensure automated tests are meaningful, maintainable, and aligned with system risk</li> <li>Review and guide test designs and automation work contributed by others</li> </ul> <div> </div> <div><strong>CI/CD and DevOps Collaboration</strong></div> <ul> <li>Partner closely with DevOps engineering to: <ul> <li>Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines</li> <li>Improve test environment reliability, reproducibility, and scalability</li> <li>Embed security, configuration, and compliance checks in the pipeline</li> </ul> </li> <li>Help define “done” criteria from a quality and reliability standpoint</li> <li>Reduce feedback cycles for developers through efficient test background in test automation, quality engineering, and test framework development</li> <li>Experience testing: <ul> <li>Embedded and/or firmware systems</li> <li>Backend and API-based platforms</li> <li>System-level and integration-heavy environments</li> </ul> </li> <li>Ability to debug across hardware, embedded software, networks, and distributed systems</li> <li>Understanding of security testing principles (IEC 62443 familiarity is a plus)</li> <li>Proficiency in CI/CD integration and automation tooling</li> <li>Proven ability to lead through technical excellence and hands-on contribution</li> <li>Experience mentoring engineers or influencing cross-functional teams</li> <li>Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate risk, quality, and system behavior</li> <li>8+ years of experience in software/firmware/embedded testing or quality engineering</li> <li>Prior role as Senior or Lead Test Engineer</li> <li>Demonstrated track record of building or
