Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains facility plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. Primary Responsibilities/Essential Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Work safely and without injury.</li> <li>Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains CNC machinery as well as standard facility systems.</li> <li>Performs routine preventative maintenance operations such as maintaining an accurate TPM record, lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. in accordance in manufacturers operation and maintenance schedule and guidelines.</li> <li>Performs routine and assists with complex trouble shooting and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. (Requires the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of bearings, gears, structural components, etc.)</li> <li>Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; soliciting information from line operators and other production associates and listening for problems.</li> <li>Uses precision measuring and testing instruments, gauges, power tools and other hand tools to complete essential functions.</li> <li>Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment to return to safe operation.</li> <li>Assists in the movement of equipment and furniture as needed.</li> <li>Participate in team meetings as required (safety, problem-solving, etc.)</li> <li>Implements the Quality Policy and Procedures in all aspects of daily duties and responsibilities.</li> <li>Performs limited machining operations incidental to repair and maintenance tasks.</li> <li>Performs basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment failures.</li> <li>Reviews service requests for repairs and maintenance determines nature of problem and recommends appropriate solution.</li> <li>Performs required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc.</li> </ul> Qualifications/Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED.</li> <li>5+ years of maintenance troubleshooting experience.</li> <li>CNC machining center experience preferred, including Mazak, Nakamura, Samsung, Okuma and/or DMG Mori.</li> <li>Experience working with PLC’s</li> <li>Experience working with AC/DC Motors/Drives</li> <li>Experience with electronic wiring/circuits and schematics</li> <li>Experience with industrial electrical needs related to machinery</li> <li>Willing to learn advanced CNC maintenance techniques.</li> </ul> Desired Characteristics, Competence and Capabilities: <ul> <li>Proficient reading engineer drawings, blueprints and technical manuals.</li> <li>Must possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.</li> <li>Excellent time management and organizational skills; must be able to multi-task and prioritize duties.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.</li> <li>Ability to effectively problem-solve.</li> <li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.</li> </ul> Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions: <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the team member is continuously standing, repetitively grasping and repetitively using fine manipulation with the hands.
