We are looking for an Senior Accounting & Tax Specialist responsible for accounting and reporting for Mölnlycke Spain, Italy, and Portugal. If you have a passion for delivering results, this position could be a great opportunity for you Location: Madrid office You’ll make a significant contribution in the following areas: <ul> <li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in line with local GAAP and Group policies, including reconciliation between frameworks.</li> <li>Submit monthly reporting and disclosures into Group reporting channels.</li> <li>Ensure timely and accurate legal reporting.</li> <li>Prepare and submit statutory financial statements, income tax returns, VAT, and other regulatory filings for all the 3 countries in scope.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and reporting quality, working with shared business service teams.</li> <li>Implement and maintain the Group internal control framework and key controls within the entity.</li> <li>Act as primary contact for auditors and authorities; coordinate audits and ensure compliance.</li> <li>Prepare tax packs, analyze permanent and temporary differences, and apply country-specific adjustments.</li> <li>Ensure reconciliations and true ups of all balance sheet accounts; resolve aged items promptly.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and reporting quality.</li> </ul> What you will need: <ul> <li>Academic degree in Accounting or equivalent.</li> <li>5+ years’ experience in accounting roles or audit/public accounting within international companies.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of statutory reporting, tax compliance, and group consolidation.</li> <li>Experience with advanced accounting issues and closing processes.</li> <li>Fluent in English (spoken and written) and Spanish.
