We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities and fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all employees.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">We are looking for an <strong>Associate Director Regional Medical Affairs</strong> to join our <strong>Biopharma Medical Affairs</strong> organization.</span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">In this role, you will be responsible for leading the local and regional medical affairs strategy, acting as a key scientific partner to internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring high‑quality scientific exchange, compliance, and evidence generation across the country/region.</span></p> <p> </p> <h3><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">What your responsibilities will be</span></h3> <p> </p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead and execute the country/regional Medical Affairs strategy, representing the medical function internally and externally, including interactions with health authorities and cross‑functional teams.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Build and maintain strategic scientific partnerships with KOLs, driving meaningful medical exchange and collecting relevant medical insights.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Manage, coach, and develop Medical Affairs field teams (MSLs/MAMs), ensuring effective execution and compliance.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Oversee scientific communication and education, including medical content review, medical inquiries, congress participation, and internal training.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead local evidence generation activities (ISRs, RWE, NIS, research grants) and ensure budget management, governance, and compliance with company policies.</span></li> </ul> <p style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> </p> <h3><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Who you are</span></h3> <p> </p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">University degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or Medicine; PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">At least 7 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong scientific expertise with the ability to interpret clinical and scientific data.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Fluent in English (written and spoken).</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and high ethical standards.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Willingness to travel.</span></li> </ul> <p style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> </p> <h3><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">What we offer</span></h3> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">At Grifols, our people are one of our greatest strengths.
