You will play a pivotal role in mentoring and empowering a high-performing team, and modelling a positive, ambitious approach that inspires excellence. Your strategic influence and leadership will be instrumental in shaping both client outcomes and the growth trajectory of the team. You will advise some of Australia’s largest privately owned businesses and family offices on a wide range of income tax matters, including (non-exhaustive): structuring and restructuring for tax efficiency, improved asset protection and effective estate/succession plans; tax controversary and governance; complex transactions; and cross-border transactions, including Australian inbound investment and outbound investments across Asia, Europe and the Americas. You will also assist clients with managing their income tax compliance affairs, including helping them meet their periodic tax reporting obligations to the Australian Taxation Office and provision of tax balances for financial reporting purposes. What will your typical day look like? Each day brings variety and challenge, as you tackle complex tax transactions and advise on a diverse range of scenarios, from structuring investments to offering bespoke strategic tax guidance for Australia’s leading families. You will lead, actively delegate to empower your team, and maintain a sharp focus on quality and client satisfaction.
