What will your typical day look like? This is an exciting career opportunity for a career focused Consultant to join our Operation Transformation and immerse yourself in services that drive operational excellence in government organisations. In this role you’ll be engaging directly with Defence leaders to deliver on some of Defence’s most pressing priorities and collaborate with the Nagy Sorial and the team to deliver extraordinary results for our clients. About the team Deloitte’s Tech & Transformation client service team supports some of Deloitte’s largest clients nationally across a variety of industries. You will report directly to the Partners / Directors in Operation, Industry and Domain Solutions team and work with team who prioritise client success. Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You may have all or some of the following skills/experience: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Knowledge of the Defence or National Security Environment: Proven experience working within or consulting into the National Security Community or Australian Department of Defence (ADF or APS)</li> <li style="font-family:tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Minimum AGSVA NV1 clearance</li> <li style="font-family:tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Experienced in project management or analysis within the One Defence Capability System.</li> <li style="font-family:tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Experience in developing procurement advice for Commonwealth Agencies.</li> <li style="font-family:tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Experience in developing Defence or National Security policy and governance arrangements.</li> <li style="font-family:tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Prior experience in consulting, particularly in a Defence context.</li> <li style="font-family:tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients.</li> <li style="font-family:tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Analytical Expertise and an ability to synthesise results into digestible outputs (e.g. reports).</li> <li style="font-family:tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Curiosity to learn and proactivity to bring forward ideas.</li> </ul> Due to the nature of the role candidates based out of Canberra with Australian Citizenship and NV1 clearance would be highly desired for this role.
