About this role

What you’ll do

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will manage high volume, high risk, employee relations cases by providing expert advice and coaching to people managers and stakeholders across the organisation, driving business objectives and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

Managing complex and high-risk cases including:Disciplinary and grievance proceduresSickness absence and capability issuesPerformance management and appealsWhistleblowing and early conciliationSettlement agreements and Employment Tribunal claimsConducting risk assessments on ER-related issues, providing clear and viable options for business considerationAnalysing ER data to identify trends and insights, using tools like Excel to manipulate data and inform business decisionsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with key internal customers, acting as a business partner and ensuring client satisfaction

Who you are

Has comprehensive technical knowledge and skills in Employee Relations, including high-volume and highly complex case managementHas experience in identifying, assessing, and managing risk using employment law knowledge and commercial experienceExcellent communication skills and technical guidanceHas in-depth knowledge of Employment Law and its application in a business settingWorried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
