Working to ISO 9001:2015 standards, the plant specialises in manufacturing ready-to-use products that combine the optimal polymeric binder chemistry with multiple functional additives resulting in superior physical and aesthetic performance, such as flame retardancy/fire safety, abrasion resistance, stretch recovery and environmental comfort. Working closely with customers and major retail organisations, our products are used in the domestic, commercial and institutional sectors of upholstered furnishings and window blinds, technical textiles such as automotive, protective and industrial fabrics and high-performance apparel. What You'll Do: As a Logistics Support Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient site operations and providing comprehensive logistical support. This will include managing full pass control, conducting internal audits, and maintaining roll call for the site when required. Facilitating site visitors and contractor inductions to ensure compliance and safety. You will oversee the scheduling and coordination of deliveries and site bookings to ensure smooth operations. When required for visitors you will organize and arrange transport, ensuring visitors and site needs are met efficiently. You will take ownership of invoice payments and raise Ariba requisitions for the logistics department, and other departments as needed, ensuring timely and accurate processing, which will also include purchasing logistics items through Ariba or using a credit card, and ensuring procurement processes are followed accurately. You will support the logistics team in obtaining quotes for waste disposal services, contributing to effective waste management solutions.
