About this role

Supervisor, Warehousing and Services is responsible for supervising warehouses supporting

distribution, manufacturing or site services such as MRO or delivery services in Lake County.

The Supervisor will ensure the Manager’s expectations for routine activities are met and may

manage small projects within the area. Responsible to ensure facilities meet AbbVie external

or internal customer expectations and support. Must maintain all Quality, Regulatory,

Financial and Global Trade compliance expectations for the area. Ensure full compliance with

FDA, DEA, OSHA, GTC, TSA and other regulatory expectations. Expected to maintain efficient and compliant operations ready to meet any internal, customer or regulatory audit. Required to

maintain a safe and secure facility ensuring employee safety and product integrity. The

Supervisor is expected to meet assigned goals and KPI’s and assure capacity, systems and

technology is capable of supporting the assigned area.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and proceduresEnsure daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed per scheduleEnsure directed reports are appropriately trained to complete assigned tasks and complete

formal written and verbal performance reviews as scheduledMonitor daily work operations and provides direction to predominantly nonexempt and entry

level staff to achieve unit or departmental goalsInteract with internal and external customers, by meeting regularly, responding to requests

and explaining proceduresDevelop work schedules for department by assessing priorities, workload and available

resourcesMaintain personnel records (e.g., work schedules, vacation schedules, leaves) and makes or

directs modifications in the database to reflect actual changeDevelops and/or identifies new work processes and the improved utilization of human and

material resources within the assigned area or related departments; facilitates others

participation in the continuous improvement program; investigates and solves basic

problems that impact work processes and personnel within a unit or department Bachelor degree preferred with 2+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experienceMay be required to attain Controlled Drug Agent status gained by passing the security

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time ofthis posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location,and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ​

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
