This role acts as a strategic partner to clients, delivering value-added solutions and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.</p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <h3>Client Relationship Management</h3> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for life science customers including R&amp;D, QA/QC, manufacturing, and procurement stakeholders.</li> <li>Build trusted, consultative relationships with scientists, lab managers, procurement teams, and C-suite contacts.</li> <li>Understand clients’ research workflows and business challenges to recommend appropriate solutions.</li> <li>Conduct regular on-site and virtual visits to maintain engagement and drive satisfaction.</li> </ul> <h3>Sales &amp; Revenue Growth</h3> <ul> <li>Achieve and exceed territory sales targets across product lines (e.g., reagents, instruments, consumables, software, or services).</li> <li>Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.</li> <li>Drive upselling and cross-selling across the full portfolio.</li> <li>Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.</li> </ul> <h3>Account Strategy &amp; Planning</h3> <ul> <li>Develop strategic account plans aligned with customer goals and company objectives.</li> <li>Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key accounts.</li> <li>Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments in the life science space.</li> <li>Collaborate with field application specialists, product managers, and marketing teams to support client needs.</li> </ul> <h3>Communication &amp; Reporting</h3> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).</li> <li>Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, scientific presentations, and ROI analyses.</li> <li>Provide regular forecasting and pipeline reporting to sales leadership.</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <h3>Education &amp; Experience</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology) or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.</li> <li>3–5 years of experience in account management or technical sales within the life science industry.</li> <li>Familiarity with laboratory workflows, research tools, and life science products.</li> <li>Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.</li> </ul> <h3>Skills &amp; Competencies</h3> <ul> <li>Strong scientific acumen with the ability to engage credibly with researchers and technical buyers.</li> <li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li> <li>Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into business value.</li> <li>Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.</li> <li>Self-organized with the ability to manage a large territory and diverse client base.</li> </ul> <h3>Personal Attributes</h3> <ul> <li>Passionate about science and its impact on human health and innovation.</li> <li>Customer-first mindset with a consultative sales approach.</li> <li>Collaborative team player with strong cross-functional communication skills.</li> <li>Adaptable and resilient in a competitive, fast-evolving market.</li> </ul><p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><strong>What we offer: </strong>We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
