Your Role: Perform day-to-day Maintenance and Facilities tasks to help ensure the operational readiness of all facilities infrastructure and manufacturing process equipment. Maintenance Technician II is expected to perform the set tasks in an efficient and safe manner. This role is also expected to work under minimum supervision and will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Lead Technician. <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Execute maintenance tasks related to the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of site safety systems; site regulatory compliance systems; and facility infrastructure and production manufacturing equipment.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Assist with the troubleshooting, testing and repair of equipment and systems.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Provide mechanical fabrication support as required for the construction of new manufacturing production units and the upkeep/repair of existing manufacturing production units.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Provide support and assistance with facility related upkeep and general maintenance tasks.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Complete daily, weekly, and monthly inspection checklist as assigned.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Use of basic hand and power tools.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine etc..</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping.</li> </ul> Physical: Attributes: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Perform tasks that require moderate physical activity.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Wear an air purifying respirator and self-contained breathing apparatus.</li> </ul> Who You Are Minimum Qualification: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">High school diploma or GED</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">2+ years of experience working in a Facility/ Maintenance department of an industrial or manufacturing company.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">2+ years of experience as machinist</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, mills etc.)</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ability to weld.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ability to read and understand construction drawings and P&IDs.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Possess basic computer skills (e.g. use of Microsoft Excel and Word)</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Strong Safety focus</li> </ul> Pay Range for this position: $28-$43 an hour. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
