Purpose of the Job Perform aluminothermic welding on grooved rail systems to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities <ul> <li>Execute welding tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and installation of grooved rails on railway tracks.</li> <li>Conduct thorough inspections before and after welding to ensure alignment with industry standards and project specifications.</li> <li>Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including completed welds, inspections, and any issues encountered during the process.</li> <li>Work closely with the engineering and construction teams to ensure that welding tasks align with project timelines and objectives.</li> <li>Ensure all welding equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working order.</li> </ul> Candidate Requirements Educational Requirements <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent is required.</li> <li>Basic English Level / A1-A2</li> </ul> Desired Knowledge / Experience <ul> <li> </li> <li>Experience: Minimum of [5] years of experience in aluminothermic welding, specifically with grooved rails in a railway environment.</li> <li>Valid and traceable certifications in aluminothermic welding from recognized authorities.</li> <li>Proficiency in using welding equipment, tools, and materials specific to aluminothermic welding and grooved rail systems</li> <li>Strong understanding of railway track systems, grooved rail welding techniques, and safety regulations.</li> <li>Additional certifications in related welding techniques or track work.
