The operator ensures safe, efficient, and precise material handling while adhering to safety standards and operational protocols specific to rail and road environments. <h2>Organizational Structure:</h2> - Direct Supervisor: Site Equipment Supervisor / Construction Manager - Functional Reporting: Rail Safety Officer / Site Logistics Coordinator - Peers: Other Equipment Operators, Site Technicians - Internal Customers: Civil Engineers, Site Supervisors, Safety Inspectors <h2>Performance Measurements:</h2> - Equipment Operation Efficiency – Timely and accurate execution of material handling tasks. - Safety Compliance – Adherence to rail and road safety protocols with zero incidents - Equipment Maintenance – Daily checks and reporting of mechanical issues - Documentation – Accurate log of operations and maintenance activities - Team Collaboration – Effective communication and coordination with site teams <h2>Educational Requirements:</h2> - High School Diploma or equivalent - Valid Israeli heavy equipment operator license - Clean driving and operating record <h2>Desired Knowledge and Experience:</h2> - Minimum 3 years of experience operating excavators in construction or rail environments - Familiarity with hi-rail systems and dual-mode operation - Understanding of railway safety standards and signaling - Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting - Experience working in high-risk and regulated environments <h2>Behavioral Skills / Competencies:</h2> - Safety-Conscious: Strong commitment to safety in both road and rail settings - Precision: High level of accuracy in excavation and material handling - Communication: Clear communication with team members and supervisors - Responsibility: Reliable and accountable for equipment and task execution - Adaptability: Able to work in dynamic environments and adjust to operational needs - Teamwork: Collaborative attitude and willingness to support broader site operations You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
