Overview: We are seeking a Senior Windows Systems Engineer who will play a crucial role in managing and supporting Windows servers and large storage systems! Areas of focus include maintaining system health, analyzing system performance, and ensuring all activities are documented in accordance with National Security Sciences and customer requirements. This position resides in the Support Services & Isolated Environments group in the Research Computing division of the Information Technology Services Directorate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). This team supports the ORNL’s goals through robust systems engineering, integration, and support tailored specifically for our NSS research community. We manage a variety of critical infrastructures including mid-range clusters, servers, workstations, and other pivotal services.
