You’ll work with skilled people who care about doing things the right way and contributing to our teams’ success.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <div>As a <strong>Senior Injury Management Advisor,</strong> you will report to the Injury Management Specialist and oversee the facilitation of the business’s injury management and pre-employment medical processes. You will manage a diverse portfolio of injuries and illnesses and be responsible for the effective management of workers compensation claims, early intervention cases, as well as non-work-related and fitness-for-work cases.</div> <p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li> <div>Manage workers compensation (WC), early intervention, and non-work-related cases across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.</div> </li> <li> <div>Monitor and support compliance with IM requirements.</div> </li> <li> <div>Provide guidance and support to Injury Management Advisors.</div> </li> <li><span>Provide technical advice, recommendations and regular updates to key stakeholders.</span></li> <li> <div>Oversee and facilitate management of complex claims, including liaising with insurers and attending quarterly claim reviews.</div> </li> <li> <div>Develop Return to Work and fitness-for-work plans in line with medical advice and stakeholder consultation.</div> </li> <li> <div>Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of WC and IP payments.</div> </li> <li><span>Facilitate fitness for work assessments.</span></li> <li> <div>Facilitate fitness-for-work assessments and review pre-employment medicals, including oversight of external providers.</div> </li> <li> <div>Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and manage the injury management database (Solv Injury).</div> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li><span>Minimum 5 years IM and WC experience within mining or similar industry</span></li> <li>Strong knowlege of WC legisltation across multiple jurisdictions (ideally, WA, NSW, SA & OLD)</li> <li>Allied health qualification </li> <li>Ability to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. </li> <li>Strong prioritisation and task management skills in a fast-paced operational environement. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Role Details </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>Location: Macmahon Head Office – Perth (Near T2) </li> <li>Roster: 5:2/Monday to Friday</li> <li>Competitive benefits package including: <ul> <li>Paid Parental Leave for primary carers </li> <li>Retail discounts (including homewares, outdoor gear, fuel and groceries)</li> <li>Novated leases</li> <li>Comprehensive wellbeing program</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Macmahon?</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>Work with people who know their stuff and back each other, within a respectful and genuine culture.
