Safe, steady and reliable is how we keep things moving. <br><br><strong>Role Details</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>Location: Various projects across Australia</li> <li>Roster: 7/7 (rotating days and nights) OR 14/14 (days and nights)</li> <li>Competitive benefits package including: <ul> <li>Paid Parental Leave for primary carers </li> <li>Retail discounts (including homewares, outdoor gear, fuel and groceries)</li> <li>Novated leases</li> <li>Comprehensive wellbeing program</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong><br>About the Role </strong><br><br>Macmahon Underground is seeking a safety-focused <strong>Charge Up</strong> <strong>operator</strong> and be an integral part of the crew by prioritising safety and demonstrating your development and production charging experience on Normet charge up equipment.</p> <p><strong><br>Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>Safe, efficient operation on Normet explosive charging equipment</li> <li>Safe and efficient handling, transport and storage of explosives and blasting agents</li> <li>Safe and efficient charging and firing of development faces or production stopes</li> <li>Ensure compliance and implementation of site blasting and evacuation procedures</li> <li>Paperwork to be filled in correctly</li> <li>Install and/or removal of mine services and ventilation.</li> <li>Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately</li> <li>Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules</li> <li>Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values</li> <li>Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture</li> </ul> <p><strong><br>What You’ll Bring </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>Minimum 12 months experience as a Charge Up operator</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in development and production charging</li> <li>Strong safety focus and ability to speak up</li> <li>A team mindset and reliable work ethic</li> <li>Commitment to contributing to a positive culture</li> <li>Valid manual (C class) Australian drivers licence (Essential)</li> <li>WA Shotfirers Licence, Dangerous Good Security Card and First Aid Certificate (Essential)</li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Why Macmahon? </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>Real teamwork with people who know their stuff and who genuinely look out for each other.</li> <li>Support to learn and grow, across stable long-term projects.</li> </ul> <p><br>Keen to join a Winning Team?
