<p><strong>Join our team and Be You Be Aptar.</strong><br>Aptar is seeking a Mold Technician based in Lincolnton, NC. Looking for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude to learn skills as a mold technician. The right candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, organization skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.This person will work independently, as well as in a team environment, doing all aspects of injection mold preventative maintenance and troubleshooting / problem solving. No prior experience required. We’ll train the right person.</p> <p><br><strong>As a Mold Technician, You Will</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Full Disassembly and reassembly of molds</li> <li>Cleaning of mold components (hand and tank processes)</li> <li>Cleaning and changing of ultrasonic wash unit and coolant tanks</li> <li>In-Press mold preventative maintenance</li> <li>Perform mold component conversions in multi-cavity tooling</li> <li>Housekeeping and 5S activity</li> <li>Hydraulic Cylinder Maintenance and Repair</li> <li>Repair of molds for increased cavitation.</li> <li>Problem solving. Root cause analysis of issues</li> <li>Use of mold books, torque charts and SOP’s</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Who We are Looking For</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Strong mechanical ability, organizational skills and communication</li> <li>Use of hand and pneumatic tools</li> <li>High school diploma or GED</li> <li>Ability to work well within a team environment as well as self-directed</li> <li>Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs.</li> <li>Prior experience in a Tooling or Manufacturing atmosphere is a bonus</li> <li>Blueprint knowledge.</li> <li>Basic knowledge of Toolroom machines and equipment</li> <li>Basic Electrical troubleshooting (for hot runners and controllers)</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Who We are</strong> At Aptar, we leverage insights, design, engineering, and science to develop cutting-edge packaging technologies that enhance brand value for our clients and make a significant impact on people’s lives globally.
